2.6.2 Switching on or switching off the pass-through mode

The pass-through mode is required if communication is required with the SMART sensor

connected to the HMG directly from your PC.

• Click on "Pass-through mode" in the interface settings window.

• If it is possible to switch the pass-through mode both on or off at one port (or at

more than one), a new window opens to switch the pass-through mode on or off.

• In the dropdown menu select the port connected to the SMART sensor for which

you wish to switch the pass-through mode on or off.

• Click on "Switch on" to switch on the pass-through mode for the selected port or

on "Switch off" to switch off the pass-through mode for the selected port.

• An information window opens which you must confirm with "OK".

2.6.3 Switching on or switching off the multisensor mode

The multisensor mode is required if several sensors with a clearly allocated bus address are

connected to the same interface.

• Click on the box in front of "Multisensor mode“ to activate or deactivate the

multisensor mode.

• The bus address can be set by clicking "Set bus address".

• After estabishing a link with the SMART sensor you can change the bus address of

the sensor by clicking on "Set bus address“ on the left side of the main window.

• In both cases select the required setting in the dropdown menu.

• Important: in the multisensor mode some functions are restricted.
